TOOLS & TRUST / HOW CANIDEAL WORKS

From your first brief.
To your decision.

Tell us what you’d like to sell or source. We find qualified partners, handle outreach, and verify the offers, documents and terms. You choose the deal.

What happens after registration

Choose your path. Both begin with qualification and end with your decision.

Your sales path

  1. 01

    Register & describe

    YOU

Tell us what you’d like to sell. Set product details, availability and commercial terms.

    CANIDEAL REVIEWS / COORDINATES

Review the company, your authority and the product information. Registration starts qualification; it does not publish a listing.

  2. 02

    Choose the evidence path

    YOU

Supply a current COA, add product details with the COA to follow, or describe broader capabilities.

    CANIDEAL REVIEWS / COORDINATES

Review a current COA before a live listing; place COA-later products in a secondary RFQ tier; assess broader capabilities for a wider supplier round. These are review paths, not automatic clearance.

  3. 03

    Match & authorize

    YOU

Confirm the price floor, disclosure limits and permitted outreach.

    CANIDEAL REVIEWS / COORDINATES

Compare product fit with prospective buyers. Prepare outreach within your permissions; matching alone does not verify a buyer.

  4. 04

    Review offers & decide

    YOU

Accept, counter or decline. Confirm terms before committing.

    CANIDEAL REVIEWS / COORDINATES

Bring specifications, evidence, proposed price, timing and route questions into review. Coordinate applicable services and quotes.

Your sourcing path

  1. 01

    Register & set criteria

    YOU

Tell us what you’re looking for. Set specification, volume, destination and timing.

    CANIDEAL REVIEWS / COORDINATES

Review company details, your authority and the completeness of the buying criteria. A workspace request does not automatically issue account access.

  2. 02

    Search registered sellers

    YOU

Your sourcing request starts the search. Set the brief once.

    CANIDEAL REVIEWS / COORDINATES

Our AI searches our registered sellers first, matching your product specifications, volume, destination and timing. Research and price checks remain separate from an active sourcing request.

  3. 03

    Extend the search

    YOU

For Active RFQ / Ready to Buy, we take your brief to the wider market.

    CANIDEAL REVIEWS / COORDINATES

We reach sellers we’ve qualified, rated and ranked. We manage the outreach and review incoming offers.

  4. 04

    Verified offers. Your decision.

    YOU

Receive offers that pass our checks. Choose which deal to pursue.

    CANIDEAL REVIEWS / COORDINATES

We verify company identity, relevant licences, COAs, product specifications, availability, price, quantity, payment and delivery terms, and applicable route requirements with the relevant qualified partners. Missing evidence or unresolved checks hold the offer back. Only offers that pass review reach you.

Arrange the trade around the route

Review the service, provider, scope and quote for the proposed transaction.

Logistics & insurance

Review shipment requirements, customs, delivery, coverage, exclusions and route-specific quotes.

Compliance & testing

Review licences, permits, certification scope, batch COAs and applicable destination testing.

Factoring & U.S. banking

Assess eligibility, provider terms and funding arrangements. Confirm any escrow agreement separately; no protection follows from a listing alone.

How the intelligence is built

Useful context, with clear limits and confidential records.

Methodology, confidence & confidentiality

From signal to context

Collect market, regulatory, company, product, certification and logistics signals. Normalize products, markets, units and observation windows; resolve overlapping records; assess authority, recency, comparability and completeness. Model scenarios separately from observed references and move authorized criteria into private qualification and RFQ review.

Three distinct evidence states

Observed reference
Preserve the market, product, unit, period and value-chain level. A reference is not an executable offer.
Modeled planning scenario
An estimate depends on its assumptions. It is not a completed trade or a firm quote.
Route context
Review supporting route requirements separately from transaction-specific eligibility. Public market flows are not executable shipments or sales.

Confidence follows the evidence

Consider authority, recency, completeness and comparability together. Preserve uncertainty, observation dates and commercial limitations. Missing evidence remains an outstanding check rather than a completed verification.

Qualification checks to perform

  • Product: form, grade and cannabinoid profile.
  • Quality: batch COA, stability, contaminants and acceptance criteria.
  • Certification: validity, scope and applicable GACP/GMP standards.
  • Route: classification, licences, permits and lawful movement.
  • Commercial: volume, price basis, Incoterm and timing.

Public utility. Private records.

Public intelligence shows product and market definitions, indicative value and unit, observation windows, confidence, limitations, freshness and aggregate methodology.

Individual source names and URLs remain private except required acknowledgments. Counterparty identities, raw quotes, COAs, attachments, source-level weights, internal identifiers and contact or outreach records stay outside public pages.

Markets & Pricing methodology

Prices retain their reported currency, unit, quantity tier, product specification and channel. Regulated pharmacy prices, advertised manufacturer asks and reported market statistics are assessed separately. A price difference does not establish an executable margin.

Reporting periods describe when the activity occurred. Observation and review dates describe when an indication was checked. Inventory-to-sales ratios compare packaged inventory with the same product’s reported monthly packaged sales; they are not estimates of exportable stock or time to sell a particular batch.

Canadian inventory and sales analysis is adapted from Health Canada’s March 2026 cannabis market data, made available under the Open Government Licence – Canada. CanIDeal’s analysis is not endorsed by the Government of Canada.

Fees and pricing methodology

Buyers pay no marketplace fee. Seller commissions use marginal tiers on rolling 12-month completed sales volume. Read the current fee schedule.

Observed retail prices, advertised wholesale asks, declared customs values and assumption-based crop scenarios are separate evidence types. Each retains its product, unit, currency and reporting or observation date. Missing current coverage stays visible.
